Description
Here is a vintageboxing Champion leather jump rope -- autographed signed by Ruben Olivares "El Púas" --Bantamweight and Featherweight World Champion -- inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame HOF in 1985.
Each handle is marked CHAMPION on both sides -- one is signed by
El Púas.
The leather rope part is about 7 feet long - each wooden handle is 5" long and 1 1/8" in diameter at the end.
Condition is used, as pictured.

Mexico's "Rock-a-Bye" Ruben Olivares was pound-for-pound the hardest puncher in boxing during the decade of the 1960s. He put together knockout streaks of 22 straight and than 27 straight. Undefeated in his first 58 fights with 54 wins by knockout. A multiple world boxing champion, he was noted for his jet-set and party lifestyle. Peaked in his early 20s, yet continued to box on and off until his 40s. Generally rated one of the top 5 Bantamweight kings of all time.
