Diamond Sutra - hand-printed rubbing/copy, mounted on traditional Chinese scroll

Description

The Diamond Sutra is a treasured 9th century copy of the world's first dated printed book.  Chinese artist Zhou Zhen (who specializes in traditional Chinese paintings and hand-carved wood-boards) spent two months making a wood-board copy of the "front page" of this famous scroll.  And while the wood-board itself is very valuable and not for sale, he has made rubbings on traditional Chinese rice paper - and offers them for sale - this one mounted on a traditional Chinese scroll, using dark green silk backing.
