    Description

    BOXART BOXING MEMORABILIA
A multi-signed official programme for Cassius Clay's fourth pro fight on February 7, 1961 at the Miami Beach Convention Hall. The fight took place on the undercard of Harold Johnson v Jesse Bowdry for the vacant NBA Light-Heavyweight Title. Clay's listed as fighting Willie Gulat but Jim Robinson was added as a late replacement; Clay prevailed via first-round stoppage. He's signed the central scorecard in blue ink, adding the year "1961". The program's also been autographed by his opponent (Jim Robinson), Harold Johnson, Jesse Bowdry, Eddie Cook, Gary Bucci, Emil Garcia and Frankie Carr. Reigning Heavyweight Champion - and future Ali opponent- Floyd Patterson has signed the back cover, next to an advert for his upcoming title fight with Ingemar Johansson. Very good-excellent condition with a corner crease to the last page. A rare piece.
