It can be mounted directly onto your MT1 headstock, tailstock, or machine quill.
This Hammerlock chuck tightens without the need for a spindle lock
The chuck makes an audible "click" sound when it is fully locked onto a bit
The back of the chuck is threaded 1/2-20 female
The front of the arbor is male threaded 1/2-20 to mate with the chuck
The rear of the arbor has a tang
The arbor can be removed from the chuck and used on your machine to support other 1/2-20 threaded accessories.
The chuck can be removed from the arbor and used on any other device that is 1/2-20 threaded.
